MORE ABOUT #TheMotoSocialPEC
With our vision set on building community and building camaraderie, we've joined forces with our friends Sarah Ostwald, Duarte Da Silva and Dustin Coldicott to bring TheMotoSocial to Prince Edward County. We could not be more stoked! Sarah, Duarte & Dustin will be our local community hosts and will continue hosting #TheMotoSocialPEC on a monthly basis throughout the season.
We're MORE ABOUT THE PEOPLE.
MOTORCYCLES ARE THE COMMON THREAD.
Our vision for #TheMotoSocialPEC is the same as all the other cities. "To build community and to build camaraderie." Since the beginning, we've worked hard to create an event that was more about the people than the bikes themselves and that helped people connect with one another. We wanted to create a positive and inclusive event that brought people together and got people excited about seeing one another. Having hosted TheMotoSocial in Toronto now since 2013 and having expanded globally, we're starting to see new friendships forming in our various communities, as well as a real positive social shift in the moto-culture in those cities. There's a real sense of unity being felt and we want to create that environment everywhere around the world. That's really what we're all about and what we're hoping to cultivate in Prince Edward County.

COMMUNITY HOSTS of #themotosociALPEC
Being a mom and entrepreneur means life can be full (beautifully so) and finding the time to spend any “ME TIME” can prove challenging. No matter how much coffee I consume, the days will not, in fact, become longer. I thought I bought my first bike, my Vespa, purely as a form of commuting in Toronto but right away noticed that it gave me that ME time that I craved and it was thrilling to boot. I’ve since moved to the gorgeous PEC and because of the fantastic riding conditions out here, my bikes have multiplied.
Living in a smaller community means just that, we ARE a community. We gather, we socialize, we smile and say hello to our neighbours as we pass in the streets. I’m so excited to be meeting all of our moto friends, new and old, and continuing to expand that sense of community with #TheMotoSocialPEC.
When I moved to PEC, one of the things I promised myself was that I would finally get a motorcycle; something I had wanted to do for years. PEC with it's bucolic setting of winding farm roads, waterfront views and vineyards is a riders dream and I want to share that with #TheMotoSocial community.
I feel so lucky to have been able to plant roots here in the PEC and become a member of this beautiful community. The people are amazing, the culture is amazing and the strong sense of community here is the best of all. All I want to do is share all that PEC has to offer with my friends and strangers alike, so come hang with us at #TheMotoSocialPEC!
Hey, I’m Dustin! A proud dad & husband, working in the architectural & design field by trade. Alongside my wife, we own & operate our company County Collective in beautiful Bloomfield, PEC.
Since moving to the country, I’ve fallen hard in reigniting my love of riding. I got my very first dirt bike around the age of seven (a Honda Trail 70 that I still have and am fixing it up for my kids!) & have been riding ever since. My favourite bike right now is my Ural, as it let’s me share the magic of riding with my two kids. We wait all Winter long for warmer days when we can sit side by side & take in the quiet, open roads together.
There’s nothing like the small town community feel in Prince Edward County & I’m thankful to be surrounded by such amazing, likeminded people. Motorcycles have a way of truly bringing folks together! I’m looking forward to meeting new people, deepening connection & planning some epic events/rides with the Moto Social community. Be safe & happy riding!
