With our vision set on building community and building camaraderie, we've joined forces with Kristin Munro & Sean Doucet to bring #TheMotoSocial to SAINT JOHN. We could not be more stoked! Kristin & Sean will be our local community hosts and will continue hosting #TheMotoSocialSAINTJOHN on a monthly basis throughout the season. We'll be kicking off the season with our first event on Thursday May 9, 2019, so spread the word & come hang with us! EVERYONE IS WELCOME! Bike or no bike. GOOD VIBES ONLY!

IT'S MORE ABOUT THE PEOPLE.
MOTORCYCLES ARE THE COMMON THREAD.

Our vision for #TheMotoSocialSAINTJOHN is the same as all the other cities. "To build community and to build camaraderie." Since the beginning we've worked hard to create an event that was more about the people than the bikes themselves and an event that helped people connect with one another. We wanted to create an event that made our big cities feel a bit smaller and got people excited about seeing one another. Having hosted TheMotoSocial in Toronto now since 2013, we're starting to see new friendships forming, as well as a real positive shift in the culture of our Toronto community. There's a real sense of unity being felt across the city and we want to create that environment in every major city around the world. That's really what we're all about and what we're hoping to cultivate in the city of Saint John.

SEAN DOUCET

Every time I sit on a motorcycle I’m just as excited as the first time I rode my friends Honda z50 at the age of 5. I’ve always found a way to ride, every year, since that day and ride any chance I get now. Motorcycles and dirt bikes are a huge part of my life and have given me the opportunity to meet some truly amazing people and grow stronger connections with old and new friends as well as my partner, Kristin. Off the bike, I’m typically surfing in the Atlantic, skateboarding, shooting photos, filming, writing/playing music, off-roading in my old Toyota, camping, throwing knives or planning some sort of seemingly outrageous escapade. I’m a carpenter by trade but also work as an industrial blaster/coater, freelance photographer and part-time actor among other things. I look forward to helping to build up the riding community in Saint John through The Moto Social and connecting with even more like-minded individuals.

KRISTIN MUNRO

Growing up, dirt bikes and motorcycles were never commonplace for me. My only interaction with a two wheeled machine, prior to getting my motorcycle license in 2014, was as an early teen - sneaking a quick ride on a little 80 that wasn’t mine to use. Riding a motorcycle had been a long-time dream of mine and in the years since finally taking the leap, my whole life has shifted to revolve around the love of two wheels as well as the community and possibilities created as a result. Through founding the first branch of The Litas in Eastern Canada with two other women and co-founding/organizing the first all women’s riding event in Eastern Canada, The Backroad Ball, I’m honoured to have played a role in helping create the community I longed for my first year of riding. I’ve since quit an unfulfilling corporate job to reconnect with my passion for design and now work at a local motorcycle dealership doing their marketing and more. I feel like my life started again when I found motorcycles. After travelling abroad and living away for periods of time, I’ve grown to see my hometown with open eyes, heart and mind and I want to help other do the same. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to help inject even more positivity into our community through hosting The Moto Social and to be able to do so with my number one adventure partner and supporter, Sean, makes it even better.
