and to build camaraderie.
WHERE WE DO IT
OUR EVENTS ARE ORGANIZED IN EACH CITY BY A rad TEAM of LOCAL friends AND MEMBERS OF OUR COMMUNITY. WE collaboratE EVERY MONTH with A different local cafe or independent business TO HOST OUR EVENTS in each city.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
“There's no in-crowd or spectator section because
everyone is welcome
everyone is invited
everyone is included.
You just need to want to grab a coffee and hang with some new friends.
And, a lot of them just happen to ride motorcycles.” - DANI KREEFT
We started TheMotoSocial in Toronto back in 2013. We created the event to build community and to build camaraderie in our city. We set out to create an event that was more about the people than the bikes themselves. We wanted to make Toronto feel a bit smaller and get people more excited about seeing one another.
We initially created TheMotoSocial with just Toronto in mind, but as our events grew and as the Toronto motorcycle community became closer, we realized that we needed to reach further and start hosting TheMotoSocial in other cities. In 2016 we began hosting TheMotoSocial in Ottawa and Montreal on a monthly basis and it was unbelievably well received. We're so thankful for all the new friends we've made so far and for all the new friendships we've watched develop.
From expanding and hosting our monthly events in Ottawa, Montreal and Toronto, we quickly realized that every major city would benefit from having a positive crew bringing amazing people together. We're seeing new friendships being made and a real sense of unity being felt in the cities we host our events in. These existing relationships and the future friendships are what is motivating us to expand into other cities around world.
In February 2017, we launched TheMotoSocial in Cape Town, South Africa in partnership with our friends Devin Paisley and Archie Leeming at the Woodstock Moto Co. Our inaugural event was extremely well received and we've continued to host our monthly get togethers since.
Later that season, in May 2018 we teamed up with a few friends in Western Canada to launch TheMotoSocial in Edmonton, Alberta and in Vancouver, British Columbia. Our friends Oren Darel and Warren Fenton jumped on to host TheMotoSocialVANCOUVER and Justin Benson, Bretton Hammond and Ashleigh Kaliszuk teamed up to host #TheMotoSocialEDMONTON. We could not be more stoked about our team mates!
In January 2018 we launched TheMotoSocial in Auckland, New Zealand in partnership with our friends Courtney Herbert, Jay Reeve and Glenn Manchester. Our inaugural event in Auckland was a huge success and we were absolutely blown away by the response. Check out this short video for a little re-cap and back story about how TheMotoSocialAUCKLAND started.
As our existing team mates/hosts continue building community locally in their cities, our goal is to continue building relationships with new, like-minded leaders and continue creating opportunities for people to connect and feel more at home in other more major cities around the world. Get in touch if you share our vision and would like to collaborate and lead TheMotoSocial in your home city.

FounderS of #TheMotoSocial
I'm a professional music, portrait and adventure lifestyle photographer and a motorcycle aficionado with over 8 years of motorcycle sales experience. During the 8 years I sold motorcycles, I represented brands like BMW Motorrad, Moto Guzzi, Aprilia, Piaggio and Vespa. By falling fairly randomly into the motorcycle industry, I've grown into a lifestyle that I now really love. I've made myself a home in it and I've found real purpose by creating #TheMotoSocial. I'm driven to positively influence the world, to help build up the motorcycle community and get people stoked about adventure, life and humanity.
I'm inspired by life, people, the creative process, fashion, design, the culinary arts, and world travel. I've been the go-to gal at Corsa Meccanica over the last 5 years doing a mix of managing, fashion buying and selling motorcycles. I've represented brands like Moto Guzzi, Aprilia, Piaggio and Vespa and today I am working along side my friends at Town Moto. In my free time I like to explore the city in search of new restaurants, cafe's and creative indie shops. I also love to read so you will often find me curled up on the beach reading something new. I am the co-founder of #TheMotoSocial and I'm so excited about meeting new people.
