MORE ABOUT #TheMotoSociaLVANCOUVER
With our vision set on building community and building camaraderie, we've joined forces with Oren Darel and Warren Fenton in Vancouver to be our Community Hosts. Oren & Warren will be leading #TheMotoSocialVANCOUVER and together as a team they will continue hosting our monthly events and bringing the community together. Come hang with us!
We're MORE ABOUT THE PEOPLE.
MOTORCYCLES ARE THE COMMON THREAD.
Our vision for #TheMotoSocialVANCOUVER is the same as all the other cities. "To build community and to build camaraderie." Since the beginning, we've worked hard to create an event that was more about the people than the bikes themselves and an event that helped people connect with one another. We wanted to create an event that made our big cities feel a bit smaller and got people excited about seeing one another. Having hosted TheMotoSocial in Toronto now since 2013, we're starting to see new friendships forming, as well as a real positive shift in the culture of our Toronto community. There's a real sense of unity being felt across the city and we want to create that environment in every major city around the world. That's really what we're all about and what we're hoping to cultivate in the city of Vancouver.

COMMUNITY HOSTS of #themotosociALVANCOUVER
Aloha "TheMotoSocialites!" I am Oren and I am one of the El-Capitan's of #TheMotoSocialVANCOUVER. When I’m not busy designing and building furniture, I try to chase the adventures. I’ve always had a passion for motorcycles, surfing (despite it being the hardest sport ever haha), travelling to new places, meeting rad people, and spreading high fives and good vibes. I met Vik & Sam via some great mutual friends we had in Edmonton (where I grew up). After a couple of good chats, we teamed up and #TheMotoSocialVANCOUVER began. I'm stoked to be hosting TheMotoSocial out here with Warren and to be a part of a rad community of friends doing the same awesomeness in the different cities around the world. I'm so pumped to hang with you all this summer.
I’m a photographer, videographer, and editor currently working in social media advertising. I’m inspired by the simplicity of motorcycles, and the change in perspective that travelling by motorcycle affords. I’m also a longtime homegrown mechanic, and take a lot of joy from getting my hands dirty teaching myself the art of repair. People have always been the most interesting part of any equation to me, whether we’re talking about photos, videos, or motorcycles. I love to travel and spend my time outdoors adventuring somewhere as much as I can manage. I can also be found on a bicycle around town - I have a lot of love for most anything on two wheels. If I can get dirty doing it, I’m probably a fan. See you on the road!
