MORE ABOUT #TheMotoSocialWINNIPEG
With our vision set on building community and building camaraderie, we've joined forces with Marc Perreault, Liane Wychreschuk, Louis Rondeau and Earl Estorninos to bring TheMotoSocial to Winnipeg, Manitoba. We could not be more stoked! Marc, Liane, Louis and Earl will be our local community hosts and will continue hosting #TheMotoSocialWINNIPEG on a monthly basis throughout the season. We'll be kicking off the season with our first event on Wednesday May 29, 2019, so spread the word & come hang with us! EVERYONE IS WELCOME! Bike or no bike. GOOD VIBES ONLY!
We're MORE ABOUT THE PEOPLE.
MOTORCYCLES ARE THE COMMON THREAD.
Our vision for #TheMotoSocialWINNIPEG is the same as all the other cities. "To build community and to build camaraderie." Since the beginning, we've worked hard to create an event that was more about the people than the bikes themselves and an event that helped people connect with one another. We wanted to create an event that made our big cities feel a bit smaller and got people excited about seeing one another. Having hosted TheMotoSocial in Toronto now since 2013, we're starting to see new friendships forming, as well as a real positive shift in the culture of our Toronto community. There's a real sense of unity being felt across the city and we want to create that environment in every major city around the world. That's really what we're all about and what we're hoping to cultivate in Winnipeg.

COMMUNITY HOSTS of #themotosociALWINNIPEG
I was born and raised in Manitoba. I’m a father of three boys, husband to be and an IT Professional by day. In my spare time I wrench and ride my motos. I started my first project bike three years ago and am now hooked on the motorcycle lifestyle but more importantly, meeting new people in this growing community of riders. I’m a true believer of supporting local businesses and contributing to building our community. I started Prairie Moto as a conduit for sharing my experiences and connecting with good people. I’m stoked to be part of #TheMotoSocialWINNIPEG team to bring more awesome people together and support some amazing hang outs in Winnipeg.
I am a construction project manager turned co-owner of Moto 49 which is a DIY Garage and Lifestyle shop that my wife and I are opening (soon) in Winnipeg. Being a third-generation motorcyclist, I grew up knowing that one day I would own one… or eight. My other passions include building things, wrenching, and helping people. I love adventures and getting lost, whether it’s by flight, cage, two-wheels, foot, or boat. I’m excited to showcase a different type of “biker” stereotype with #TheMotoSocial which is a community of great people that love their city and support local, social, and environmentally conscious businesses, contributing to the city’s growth and success.
A few years ago, I dove head first into learning to ride motorcycles. I was lucky to meet some great locals at Ox Motorcycles early on who helped me build the bike of my dreams; her name is Belle. Outside of riding, I work as an architect and am passionate about fishing, saving the planet one building at a time and clay making in my studio. Learning more about motorcycles has been so much fun, mainly because it includes meeting more friends. I’m excited to build the community with #TheMotoSocial and encourage anyone interested in experiencing that sense of freedom and fun to get 2 wheels.
Born in the Philippines and raised in Winnipeg, I’ve always embraced this city’s diverse culture. I’m proud to call Winnipeg home and I enjoy absorbing as much as I can in the community. My passions include motorcycles, photography, playing guitar, singing and boxing. New to riding, I’ve met so many awesome people that have helped me grow in the sport and with that I’d love help build a positive and inclusive moto community here at home.
